Becoming Horselike CEU
Understand the dynamics and benefits of equine assisted therapy in this interactive, collaborative event.
What can we learn from a horse? Horses exhibit mindfulness. They live in the present, not worried about their next interaction or event. Horses exhibit boundaries. They know their environment and we can watch them enforce healthy personal space. Horses exhibit community. They know their herd and they’re attuned to their reactions. Horses exhibit safety. They are prey animals and will sound the alarm for other like-minded friends.
Equine Assisted Counseling shows our clients their macro choices on a micro level so our clients can easily see how their daily actions and reactions effect their life. -Amanda Gama, Restore Advanced Outpatient Program
